Power - Hydro, 1,985 crore
The infrastructure division of L&T Construction has secured an order valued
1,985 crore from GVK Project and Technical Services for execution of the
850 MW Ratle hydroelectric power project located on the Chenab river in the
Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir. L&T said it has received 'limited notice
to proceed' to start the operations.
J&K is the first State in India to award 690 MW Ratle HEP (mega hydro power
project) to GVK Group Company GVK Power and Infrastructure Ltd on BOOT
basis through a tariff based competitive bidding process in 2010.
