Omaxe Infrastructure & Construction Ltd, a wholly- owned subsidiary of realty firm Omaxe Ltd, has been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Defence to construct a residential complex at Nagrota in Jammu & Kashmir.
The project, valued at
128 crore, involves the development and construction of residential accommodation for defence officers. OICL will construct a total of 800 dwelling units within 27 months.
OICL currently has an order book of about
978 crore. It recently bagged a contract from the Air Force Naval Housing Board to build a housing colony at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. In real estate, Omaxe is developing 53 projects. Of these, 21 are integrated townships including a hi-tech city, 21 group housing projects, nine shopping malls and commercial complexes, and two hotels.
