ABG Shipyard Ltd has won two orders worth
366
crore for the construction of oil rigs and vessels
from Halul Offshore Services Company, W.L.L.,
Doha, Qatar, and Marnavi Spa plc, Italy.
The Qatari company has placed an order worth
288 crore for a 91 metre twin screw diving support
vessel for unrestricted services with dynamic
positioning system, equipped for subsea maintenance
and saturated diving up to 300 metres, air
dive and ROV operation, supply of material to offshore
locations, transportation of men, external
fire lighting and so on.
The Italian company has placed a
78 crore order
for a 63.8-metre twin screw 82 tonne bollard pull,
anchor handling tug vessel for unrestricted services
with dynamic positioning system (DPS-II)
equipped for anchor handling, towing, rescue,
offshore supply, external fire-fighting, and other
related duties. Deep Industries Ltd: The Ahmedabad-
based company has got an LoI from Gujarat
State Petroleum Corporation Ltd for hiring a
work-over rig on firm basis for operations at all
the exploration and development blocks and
fields. The contract value is around `6.40 crore.
