Untitled - 11The Mumbai headquartered Chemtreat India Ltd, a worldwide leader in the field of corrosion control services has planned to undertake second phase expansion at its composite technology park at Khopoli near Mumbai.

Mukul Gupta, Managing Director - Chemtreat India Ltd told Projectvendor that "the company intended to implement second phase expansion at an estimated cost of Rs150 million."

The company has already acquired another three acres adjoining its current plant (Phase I). Work is expected to commence around December 2011 and estimated to be completed within six months thereafter.

On completion of second phase, the company will be able to manufacture technologically advanced composite structures like ready made sky-walks that can be carried to the project site and fixed - thereby reducing project delays.

The company recently implemented first phase of the composite technology park with an investment of Rs200 million. It was financed through internal accruals and IDBI Bank had sanctioned term loans worth Rs80 million.
