Water and wastewater management firm VA Tech Wabag has received
orders worth

100 crore ($14 million) from overseas, according to a
company announcement. The company received an EPC order worth
€6.5 million to revamp a waste water treatment plant at Choutrana,
Tunisia. The scope of the project, which is partly financed by Swiss loan,
includes replacement of major equipment and control systems including
repairs.
Another project was bagged by Wabag Turkey, taking over the operational
management of the Adana waste water treatment plants, which it had
earlier maintained till 2009. The large Adana East and West plants with a
total capacity of 3,70,000 m3/d were also built by Wabag.
An O&M contract has been renewed from Romanian oil and gas company
OMV Petrom SA for their refinery. The Turkey and Romania projects
together worth €7.5 million.
